enjoy life much
to make up for the lousy photos taken yesterday, i’m going to put up some really good ones taken by zenon today.
thanks to gladys’ good recommendation, we went to vanilla cafe near amoy street for afternoon tea.

quite a nice place if you dont count the searching part, haha.

i dont think the cafe has any particular theme, but i guess the collection of random stuff adds to the homely feeling.

thanks to zenon, i got these candid snapshots that i always love best.
yes i smile to myself all the time so that i still look pretty in candid shots, can?
the cafe’s menu is kinda limited.
or maybe i just wasnt exactly hungry and nothing really appealed to me.

took especially long to deliberate over the menu, before finally deciding on one of the three all-day breakfast sets. yes i would eat breakfast three times a day if i could.
turned out to be quite satisfying.
maybe i should take this long every time i order my food.
the bun was my favourite. i couldnt help but exclaim how yummy it was, while in the middle of my conversation with zenon, hahaha.
but that’s probably because i had really low expectations. i feel buns served as sides in set meals are often quite neglected and come served cold and hard, haha.
the egg, sausages and ham in the dish were quite ordinary.
hmm…in conclusion, the dish should cost about half of the $9.50 that i paid for.

kelvin and gladys had sandwiches. i forgot to ask them how they were because i was too immersed in enjoying my bun.
as zenon ordered some french vanilla ice cream, which i believe tasted exactly like the 1$ singapore version sold at the road side, i didnt take any photo of him with his food.

but he got to take one whole series with me, so he was still the ultimate winner.
though we were very full, gladys and i decided to try out the cafe’s signature dirt cake anyway.
oreo bits showered onto vanilla ice cream in a flower pot, with two juicy-looking worms, no less.
and yes, that plastic flower came with it too.
wth, i know.

but like what some online reviews (kelvin actually did research beforehand) say, A* for novelty.
as a whole, it was quite a pleasant experience at the cafe.
still, like what kelvin said, would be a nice place to stumble upon, but not worth spending time searching for (like what we did).
roamed the streets nearby after that.
tanjong pagar is like a dead town in the weekends.
i like.
:) :) :)

if you are into wing chun.

my dream car, but without the stickers.
i know what you are thinking.
first camera, now car - everything i own must look like toy.

would love to have my windows painted like this too.
:)

act artistic.

FAIL MAX.

no wonder zenon looked so traumatised after spending the whole day with us noobs.
HAHAHAHAHAHA.
went to town next but the rain and the crowds made me feel very, very sleepy. or maybe it was the food, i dont know.
so we all went home and i had chicken rice for dinner with my family.
i love staying home for dinner with my family.
and i love exploring cafes, museums, parks, quiet streets and basically all favourite and forgotten corners of the island with my bffs too.
:) :) :)
